EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW

Your photography, in one sentence?
Sharp, dramatic and sensual black and white with a breath of Helmut Newton!

What is your vision of the nude in photography and how do you use it?
A Nude for me must be simple and pure, beautiful curves in order to highlight the beauty of the body, play with shadows, lights to make the curves more aesthetic. For me a nude should never show the private parts.

What elements do you think make a photo “successful”?
My photos, I organize them from A to Z. I look for an idea, I make a storyboard like in a film either with drawings or with photos of inspiration. Then I'm looking for a team: make-up, hairdressing, styling, etc. I organize the session, I study the light, the poses… But what will make this photo successful is a factor on which I wait and I count every time: chance. Chance can be a gust of wind, something falling, a spontaneous, uncalculated expression, a mimicry of the model, a movement, someone passing...

Your main character trait?
Ambitious and passionate.

Which one are you the least proud of?
Often doubtful.
